Filler Farmhouse circa 1950

Redhill Farmhouse

  • Redhill Farmhouse is thought to go back to the 1600s. An extension was built in the 19th century, adding a washroom, dairy for cheese and a cheese storage room over the dairy.

A catalogue from 1912 described the house and farm as an "extensive dairy farm"... "advantagiously placed contiguous to Elberton Village, lying in a ring fence, with long road frontages".

Redhill Farm was one of the first properties in Elberton to have mains electricity.
